Conversational therapies

As a therapist for more than 20 years, I use several tools: Transactional Analysis, Brief Systemic, EMDR.

In conversational therapy sessions, I use these tools in a personalised way according to what feels right to me.

Transactional Analysis

Transactional Analysis is a theory of personality and communication.
Developed in the 1950s by Eric Berne, it has proved its worth!
You may have already heard of the “Ego States”: Parent – Adult – Child.

It is an exciting, easy and complex theory that allows us to better know and understand ourselves and our interactions (transactions) with others.
One of the objectives of Transactional Analysis is to help us develop more autonomy, and to improve our relationships with others.

Brief Systemic

Brief Systemic Therapy is practical and active!
I work on concrete issues based on the way you experience the situation that makes you suffer.
The method of brief therapy is both active and empowering.
By taking action, you actively participate in reaching your goal, your demand.

Systemic decoding does not put the responsibility on others, but on the existing interactions between people, and on those that the suffering person may have with himself. You are mobilised to be at the origin of the solution that will positively modify these interactions.

EMDR

The resilience of our brain is triggered by lateral eye movements. The aim is to enable the two cerebral hemispheres to “work together” again.

The result: in a few sessions, anxiety, phobias and panic attacks are reduced or even eliminated.

The number of sessions ranges from 1 to 10, depending on the extent and duration of the symptoms.

The EMDR sessions are done exclusively in person in my office in Nîmes..

I followed this training at the Milton H. Erickson Institute in Belgium.
